By default, your customer need to be logged in to download PDF invoices. But you can enable Allow guest access option in order to allow guest users to download invoices after place an order. This is possible because the plugin creates a unique key for the invoice PDF.
This is an advance option that will need a bit of coding to enable guess user to download their PDF invoices. See Download link on the Thank You page

I allready installed that snippet.
It’s more that guest customers ask me for an invoice, some days after they ordered. Not many people notice the download link on the succes page.
The invoice is also not emailed as attachment for guest orders.
This alone would solve it all.

The fact that the attachment is not included in the email sent out to guests is quite strange, we don’t distinguish in this (neither does WooCommerce) – it’s exactly the same email that is sent out. Have you done any customizations that might affect the generation of the invoice for users without an account?
No customizations. All default and latest version.
I did a few tests myself, as guest. I do not get the invoice emailed.
When I order with account I do get the invoice emailed.
