I think it is Masonry style that has vanished – just found that term now. So I would like to enable the Masonry layout for pinboard again. I’m confused as to why it vanished.
Resolved! I received a reply on another forum, here it is:
You have probably overridden the function pinboard_register_scripts() in your child theme. If so, you need to update the paths to the scripts from the theme’s functions.php file to your child theme’s functions.php file.
I just replaced the childboard functions.php with the original functions.php. Worked perfectly.
Hi, How did you “replace the childboard functions.php with the origianl functions.php”?
I just removed everything in the child theme’s functions.php and that seemed to work, so hopefully no other problems arise.
Thanks.
I don’t have a child theme and I also have this problem. Anyway to fix it?
I seem to have the same problem:
I have a menu (Category type) set up to show only posts of a specific category.
Previously, the distance between each post and the one below was always the same. Now, it seems that each row has a specific height, so if a post is “small” there is a huge blank between that post and the one below. Thankfully, I only updated locally, but I would like to resolve this so I can update the live version.
For now, I have wordpress 3.8.3 and pinboard 1.1.8. I have a child theme, but the problem exists in both the child and the original pinboard theme. The problem appeared after I updated pinboard and a couple of plugins (which shouldn’t have affected the theme I think). No link, since the live version is currently using pinboard 1.0.7 which works as I want.
Are there some settings I should change to get this to work?
Thanks.
