[Resolved] Gap between header-title and cirles into squares

  • Hi everyone and thank you Caroline for offering this wonderful theme to the community,

    I’m an illustrator and I’m using Spun for my portfolio (under costruction)

    I have two questions. The first and most important is: can I reduce the padding/margin between the header and the post title (in red in the link)?

    The second one: is there a way to transform circles in the home into other shapes (squares for instance)?

    Thank you a lot

    Hi there! Yes, you can use CSS in a child theme or a CSS plugin (like Jetpack) to do this. I recommend using Firebug for CSS work–makes it much easier.

    You can change the .hentry top padding like so:

    .single .hentry,
    .error404 .hentry,
    .page .hentry,
    .search-no-results .no-results {
      padding-top: 30px; /* or however little space you want */
    }

    To make the circles into squares, you’d set the border-radius property to 0 in your child theme’s style.css:

    .blog .hentry a .attachment-post-thumbnail,
    .archive .hentry a .attachment-post-thumbnail,
    .search .hentry a .attachment-post-thumbnail {
      border-radius: 0;
    }

    I don’t offer basic CSS support, but the links above should get you started. Good luck!

    Wow, it worked perfectely. Thank you very much indeed for your reply 🙂
