  • I’m planning on switching the website for my small gaming convention to WordPress soon and I’m looking for a plugin that will work with our schedule system. Currently gamemasters fill out a form with event name, game name, day they want it to run (Saturday or Sunday), how long it will run, description, game manufacturer, and a few other things. The form sends me an email and then I log in to the backend of the site and add the information to a form that I wrote in Cold Fusion. I just copy and paste the different bits of info into the proper fields and then submit it to the database. The database then updates the online schedule of games and displays them on the Schedule page of the website.

So in a perfect world, there would be a form that the gamemaster would fill out that would then generate an event on the schedule. I would then approve the event and it would show up on the website. In a less perfect world, the gamemaster would fill out a form that I would receive as an email, and then I would enter the info into a form on the WordPress admin page or something like that and then the event would show up on the schedule. Does anybody know if there’s anything like this available in WordPress plugins? I’d hate to have to have people fill out a form that would email me and then I’d just have to copy and paste the stuff into a regular WordPress Page.

    Thanks for your help.
