gallery/media comments

    Hi
    I would like help with the following:

    I have made a site using WP 3.3. I have used the photo gallery that is part of this version of wordpress. I do NOT want to have people leave comments on these photos and have not been able to turn off this feature on the gallery.

    To be as specific as possible it is when you click on an image and the Gallery itself goes into effect and not the initial gallery ‘page’ (I have been able to find and turn off the comments on all other pages and post).

    Today I discovered some comments left on these gallery photos which are completely inappropriate.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    I think that what you want to do is to remove comment ability from the attachment template right?

    Here’s a link to the page which I think you mean – http://www.fisherapartments.com/?attachment_id=173

    Your theme is a child theme of twenty ten, so what you will need to do is get a copy of the loop-attachment.php template from twentyten add it to your child theme and then remove the line which has <?php comments_template(); ?>

    It should be line #115.

    That should do it.
