Gallery to open in fancybox after clicking text link

    Hi,

    I need a simple thing but I struggle to find out any solution so I would be very grateful for any advice.

    I have text on page “click here to see images” and if user click “here” I want images (one by one) from certain nextgen gallery to be displayed straight in fancybox/lightbox (the user isn’t redirected on gallery page, he stays on current page).

    Is there any way how to do it with nextgen gallery plugin? Or any other plugin.

    @r22 – There is no current method to go from a “text” link directly to opening a Lightbox containing the gallery images although there is a way to do it via a shortcode that will provide an image linking directly to the Lightbox.

    @r22 – This works in most cases, at least as far as I have tested it (just remember to set the appropriate gallery ID parameter.

    [ngg_images gallery_ids=1 display_type=photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails disable_pagination=1 images_per_page=1]
