I have been working on my gallery page that is a portfolio of my paintings. They are different sizes so I do not want to crop them. I like the brick format but it makes some long narrow ones look small. The last image in the gallery displays larger. Is it possible to make some other images two or three columns wide?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us.
Unfortunately, WordPress image display size is controlled, automatically, by WordPress.

You can only change the column number, 2 columns will display your images wilder. As you may have noticed, image width is fixed, that’s why image with landscape format seems smaller. The other trick would be to remove some page margin to increase the place available for your images.

Another thing I have noticed is that your theme does not handle properly the WordPress masonry gallery style (not sure why), maybe they can help you with that. Images should be nested, like that: https://goo.gl/5bL5pL

Nice painting by the way, cheers,
