• Hi everybody!

I am working on a wordpress-based website for some months now and the last item missing is a gallery plugin. I tried Exhibit (didn’t work, but doesn’t seem to be what I am looking for either), the Gallery thing is nice but I want something more simple.
    What I hope to find:
» A simple gallery plugin (upload func. not neccessary)
» Devidable in albums (or similar)
    » Creating thumbs
» eventually a comment function for the pictures

Is there something like this? If not, any other suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

  • I am going to bring this thread back alive here. I uploaded some pics after installing lazy-gallery and no error messages but I get a wierd display. Any ideas what I do next?

I’d double and triple check the div/ol/li tags and make sure you don’t have one that’s not closed/opened improperly.

hmmm… seems fine. What file are you talking about? I haven’t edited any files as of yet, except to change the directory from /wordpress to /blog

Dear Lord, I just don’t get it..

Could it be the theme I am using is just not compatible with the gallery??

This is the path I have to the images in the lazy-gallery.php
    .
    $gallery_address = ‘../wp-content/images/gallery/’;

Do I have the syntax wrong? I do have a folder called gallery inside the the images directory.

Isn’t the issue the lazy-index.php file? That’s where the error occurs.

Hey it works fine when I change my theme. I am currently using ‘sharepointlike’ theme and for some reason it isn’t working properly with that.

I noticed sharepointlike theme when I unzipped it.. there was no header or footer file and only came with an index.php and comments.php…

I wonder if there is a way to work around this. Any brilliant ideas?

If you are interested, I did also a plugin to integrate wordpress and phpwebgallery ( a nice and very easy to use and install photo gallery software, with multiple user and a lot of features ). It works also with wordpress 2.0. The integration is invisible to your visitors. Have a look here! You can download from here
