Gallery popup crops images

    I am using the free version with the filterable gallery and when i click on an image in the gallery a popup opens to show the full image, though the images are cropped to the dimensions given in ‘general options’ > ‘popup option’ > ‘popup image option’ under width and carousel image height. They are also just cropped to the top half of the image.

    Is there an option to have the images open on the popup and actively resize to fit the screen (similar to lightbox)? As there is an option to have the images in the gallery grid itself sit in their original uploaded sizes, but this is not much good if they all have to be the same size or cropped when opened using the popup.
