Gallery plugin recommendations?

Hi

I’m looking for recommendations for a plugin (or other solutions) to create a gallery page that will dynamically display the featured image from each post from a particular category.

The specific application is to have a visual index of all recipes posted on a site. Ideally, one that updates itself as users upload new recipe posts.

I’ve seen a few ways of doing it manually, but don’t want to burden the client with manually adding to the gallery with each new recipe.

I can imagine it being a fairly simple matter to code, though sadly I lack the skills and right now don’t have the time to learn how to do it so a plugin would be ideal.
