Support » Plugin: Responsive Lightbox & Gallery » Gallery not working

  • I am trying out the Gallery function for the first time, and am seeing two problems:

    1.
Under the Config tab, no matter what number of columns I select, the gallery will always end up using a 4-column layout when I hit WordPress’ “Preview Changes” button. I can select 1-column, 3-column, 6-column — it doesn’t matter. The gallery always appears with a 4-column layout on desktop.

    2.
When I hit “Publish” (Visibility: Public), and then visit the gallery’s Permalink, I get a “No Results Found” error.

This is a bit frustrating, because this plugin’s Lightbox feature was much easier to use first-time-round than the Gallery (which appears not to work at all for me).

    Hi,

    Regarding the issues,

    1. It depends on the gallery type you choose, some of them don’t support columns. But in this case, do you have Screen sizes option? It allows you to set no of columns per size – this is probably used instead.

    2. Please try re-saving your permalinks. If it doesn’t help please reach our support forum here https://dfactory.eu/support/ – we’ll do our best to solve this

I have the same problem as 1.:no matter what number of columns I select, the gallery will always end up using a 4-column layout

@mrapi what gallery type you’re using?
    Can you share an example?

I had the same problem, the settings are so confusing too, lightbox wouldn’t work and all debug tools showed no issue…

I had to uninstall and use a different plugin, reading through the threads on various topics it suggests all the issues started after various updates were done. Maybe it would be best to go back to earlier versions…

    Just a thought
