Gallery not working

Hi all, i recently bought the theme called Kubb (http://kubb.wpengine.com/home-layout-1/). I’m trying to create posts with several images. I’m looking to have the images as a tiled mosaic gallery. My template calls them Masonry Gallery. The result i’m hoping to have is this one: http://kubb.wpengine.com/portfolio/another-book-cover-11/
However this template only allows the Masonry Gallery as a portfolio page, not a blog post.
I’ve tried to get some gallery plugins but they just dont work on my posts.

Any ideas on how i can fix this?
