    any idea what am I doing wrong?

    I edit a page, then click on im store icon, and chose a gallery and add.
    then update.
    When I view the page, nothing there.
    the gallery I am trying to view is not password protected its a public.

    Any help will be much appreciated.

  • Using the short code?

    Having same issue. The [img-store] shortcode works fine, but [ims-gallery id=xAl33sssawhatever] never works. It’s obviously executing (the shortcode is being evaluated), but there are no images.

    FWIW: Whenever I attempt to edit a Post or Page with this shortcode, the editor automatically switches to ‘Visual’ mode and displays the IMS logo. So clearly, -something- is getting executed.

    How do I troubleshoot?

    PS: I’m using version 3.34

    To any future travellers…

    After digging a bit into the PHP, many issues of disappearing content appear to be in the default settings in Admin. I don’t wanna get too technical, but for example, if you leave the Gallery ‘Sort’ options at their defaults, this will stop the ims-gallery shortcode from working as it creates an invalid SQL Query. I hope the developer fixes this bug at some point.

    In short: if you’re having problems with the ims-gallery shortcode:
    a) Reset to the default settings
    b) Try changing the Gallery Sort from ‘Custom’ to another option.
    c) If you’re comfy with PHP, you can also look at the SQL Queries generated in shortcodes.php around line 130ish. The ORDER BY is probably incorrect.

    <HTH>
