# Gallery navigation arrows missing

 * Hello,
 * I’m hoping for guidance in reviving my photo gallery navigation arrows. With 
   every gallery installed on our website, you used to be able to click on a single
   picture within a specific gallery, the picture would open enlarged and from there
   you could click the arrows on either side of the photo to navigate to the next
   photo or the previous photo. This feature is no longer present.
 * The only thing I can think that I’ve changed as of recent is I updated to the
   most current version of wordpress. Other than that, I have not changed any option
   for the galleries or photos. Under the gallery settings, I have the each photo
   set to link to the “attachment page”; this has been a constant and also not changed.
 * My thought is that it has something to do with the WordPress update and the current
   theme I’m using for my website, dePosito by ThemeShift. I don’t believe ThemeShift
   supports this theme any longer, so I haven’t been receiving theme updates. The
   theme works perfectly for our website though, so I’d really like to keep using
   it.

 * This must be breaking the gallery slider original behaviour.
 * In the last few WordPress versions there have been major changes in jQuery. If
   other plugins & themes do not upgrade themselves to support the changes made 
   by WordPress, then it can cause such issues.
 * I suggest you try either of the following:
 * 1) Install & activate ‘jQuery migrate helper’ plugin and see if that helps –

 * OR
 * 2) Install this plugin and see if downgrading WordPress to previous version helps–
