Gallery links on album page still do not work

    Newly created galleries and added to an album still have broken links in Nextgen 2.1.31 and WP 4.4/4.5. Old gallery links are working and when clicking on the gallery link on the album page, Nextgen fowards me successfully to the gallery itself.
    However for newly created galleries Nextgen redirects again to the album page instead of the gallery.

    This is what I have already tried:
    – downgrading to 2.1.23 and re-uploading/saving the galleries, without success
    – WP4.4 to 4.5 upgrade, without success
    – disabling all other plugins and re-uploading the galleries, without succes (still the same behaviour when disabling all other plugins)

    What can I try more to fix this?

    Not sure if applicable to you, but I had this issue due to special characters (&) in my gallery title. I believe NextGen is working on a fix for this, but, if applicable, try recreating the gallery (leaving any special characters in title) and see if that fixes the issue for you. Simply renaming the existing gallery won’t work.

    Thank you jishua. I was indeed using ( and ) in my gallery names. After uploading them again without these characters everything is working fine. This will be the workaround then until this has been fixed.
