gallery link to attachment site -navigate threw all images

    I have uploaded six images to “test post” and if I use

    [gallery link="file" columns="2" ids="10,14"]
    it works fine and show me only two images => at frontend and in the lightbox,

    but If I use “link to attachment-site”

    [gallery columns="2" ids="10,14"]

    it shows me two images at frontend
    but I can navigate threw all 6 images attached to the post not only for two

    That’s by design, you’re navigating through the attachments, not the gallery itself. This isn’t new in 4.0.

    This is related to #22829.

    I tested this with all new default themes
    so it looks like the bug is forever 🙂
