When I create a gallery in a post it appears ok in the draft. that is the image size is as I have created in ‘create gallery’ usually medium size image with 2 – 4 columns. However in the preview they will only show as thumbnails and however many columns they are aligned to the left (not a good look)they used to be ok but now are not; probably after a WP update but not sure.
Is there an easy fix for this – Please note I am not a techie
    your help would be appreciated

try a few basic troubleshooting steps:
    – Flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches.
    – deactivating ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem (plugin functions can interfere). If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).
    – If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen Theme for a moment using the WP dashboard to rule out any theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

sorry for delay in coming back to you, I have been tied up with setting up an exhibition. I will try the above next week; fingers crossed
    thanks for your help
