    Hi,
I would like to create a gallery with a display similar to http://www.antiguaclassics.com/registration/.

Unfortunately, the version of the plugin that was used to create this gallery has been superceded so I’m trying to figure out the settings.

This is an extract of the shortcode:
    [ngg_images source=”galleries” container_ids=”9″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” override_thumbnail_settings=”0″ thumbnail_width=”240″ thumbnail_height=”160″ thumbnail_crop=”1″ images_per_page=”50″ number_of_columns=”3″ ajax_pagination=”0″ show_all_in_lightbox=”0″ use_imagebrowser_effect=”0″ show_slideshow_link=”0″ slideshow_link_text=”[Show slideshow]” template=”filepath/ngglegacy/view/gallery-caption.php” order_by=”alttext” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]

This is an extract of the shortcode for the gallery that I created elsewhere:
    [ngg src=”galleries” ids=”3″ exclusions=”87″ display=”basic_thumbnail” images_per_page=”50″ number_of_columns=”3″ display_view=”default” template=”filepath/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/ngglegacy/view/gallery-caption.php” order_by=”alttext”]

This is what it looks like: https://imgur.com/MWizeNF
This is how I would like it to look: https://imgur.com/7oGzNy3

The issues that I have with the gallery that I have created are:
    – There is a border around each image and I would like that removed
    – There is a background colour behind each image
    – The image and caption text are out of alignment. The image is left aligned and the text is centre aligned, I would like both to be centre aligned if possible

Unfortunately, I’m a novice when it comes to adding various attributes to shortcodes to acheive my goal.

    Can you help?

    Hi @canu,

Can you please edit the page then edit the shortcode from it and go to “Customize Display Settings” from the editing popup to make sure that you have selected the “Legacy” for “Select View” then hit the “Insert Gallery” button and Publish the page’s changes to see if that will change anything for the layout?

    Hi @mihaiimagely,

    Thanks for your quick response!

To answer your question, the Legacy view was already selected previously. I tried it again and I’m afraid that it didn’t make any difference.

Any other assistance or suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Regards,
    canu

    Hi @gabyimagely

The issue is unresolved. The problem is occurring in a website which is under development and I can’t send you the link in a public forum.

Can I send you a private message where I can give more details?

    Hi @canu

Please try the same solution provided by Mihai.
But remember to select “NextGen Legacy: gallery-caption.php” as your template

If that doesn’t work, please consider following these steps:
1.- Go to Gallery > Other options > Reset options > and use the option “Reset all options”.
2.- Reinsert your gallery again and save.

We hope that this helps, please keep us posted.

    Hi @gabyimagely

    Thanks for your suggestion.

I reset the gallery and reinserted it again and unfortunately, the gallery is still being displayed the same: https://imgur.com/MWizeNF

    What’s the next step please?

    Hi @mihaiimagely
The website is still under development so we can’t divulge the URL in a public forum. Is there anywhere private where I can send this information?

    Regards

    Hi @canu

We’d like to take a closer look at your current issue with the gallery template. We may need to temporarily deactivate plugins and switch the theme while troubleshooting. Would you feel OK with that? If so, please send us a bug report here: http://www.imagely.com/report-bug, refer back to this forum thread, and let them know Gaby referred you.
