Gallery Creation Issues

    This used to work fine up until 3.1.

    – I can upload images into the Media Library just fine.
    – The Ascending/Descending doesn’t actually change the numbering, instead it seems to scroll and shift the page in the background.
    – The “insert gallery” information and button are NOT present.

    does anyone have an idea of what might be causing this? I even reinstalled my theme AND tried to selectively replace wordpress bit by bit through ftp. I cant figure it out. 🙁

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
