Support » Plugin: WordPress Gallery Plugin - NextGEN Gallery » Gallery Caches Missing

  • We have a LOT of galleries on our website. However, after the last update many of the images “seemed” to go missing on the frontend (they’re still there in the backend). Re-saving a gallery via the backend fixes that gallery. On further investigation on the server, we noticed a gallery that was saved (or unaffected) has a cache directory

    /var/www/html/wp-content/gallery/techweek2016/cache

while one that is not displaying has no cache dir (it still has thumbs/ dir). As soon as you re-save that gallery, the cache dir is created. All permissions on all directories is correct.

Clearing the image cache under settings has no effect, you have to actually go in and save each gallery again in the backend, which is far from idea, as we have so many galleries.

Is there any way to regenerate all the caches at once? Any and all advice appreciated.
