    WordPress installed with latest version.

    After updating plugin to v.3 (I think I had a 2.* Version) and other plugins, all my galleries disappeared from website and I see “no images were found”.
    On dashboard, now I see menu “gallery” im a new position instead of “next Gen gallery” (if I remember correctly).
    But I don’t see anymore my galleries, it’s completely empty.
    If I go to my website files, I see all my galleries in wp-content/gallery folder.
    But update created a new gallery folder (without my galleries) under plugins folder.
    Tried to uninstall and reinstall next Gen plugin but no results.
    Is there a solution?
    Or do I have to restore an old backup of my site?

    I am really sorry to hear about the encountered problem.

    I hope that you wouldn’t mind checking if you are using a display type for your galleries that is available in the current version of NextGen Gallery.

    Thanks for the update and I am glad that you’ve figured it out this way.
    We haven’t heard of any incompatibility issues when moving from NGG2 to NGG3 and this one seems to be a unique case.

    I see that on the homepage you are using an NGG widget that currently works. Is it the one that used to break after updating to NGG3?

    Yes. But not only this one.
    Also every ngg insert in every post like

    Every time it displayed “no images were found”, although in wp-content/gallery there were all galleries and photos, and in ngg settings new galleries were automatically located in the same position.

    @steadi22 – I’m seeing a gallery displayed in that post. Did you re-insert the gallery, and if so, did that resolve the issue you were seeing?
