Exactly same problem here. Album just states “no images were found”
Yes I have the same problem. When you create a new gallery, it can be added to the album and will display the thumbnail. However, when you click on the gallery, it says “no images were found”. All previous galleries are unaffected, only the ones created very recently.

I found a workaround: The problem only appears, if I create an album with a space in the title. So I created the album without a space in the title and renamed it afterwards. This worked for me.

Same problem here!!! Sometimes it says no pictures found… But I can see all preview pictures!!

Friends I solve the problems of the slug, with download the version of Nextgen-gallery 2.1.19, 2.1.26 delete the version that was presenting this problem and install the version 2.1.19. and ready great.
@oudedaf – You might consider rolling back to version 2.1.23 until we have this sorted out.
You can download that version from this page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/developers/
Then under Plugins > Installed Plugins deactivate and delete NextGEN Gallery (ONLY).
Then under Plugins > Add New … Upload Plugin use the downloaded version (2.1.23).
You will likely see an immediate notifications of an update being available, please wait until you see the version is later than our current 2.1.26 release.

If i deactivate and delete Nextgen, did i lost my pictures too??
I have more than 1000 pictures ans i dont want the loose this.

I am having the very same problem with version 2.1.26 after upgrading last week. When I try to open a gallery that was created I receive the message “no images were found”. I, like oudedaf would like to know if all my photos will be lost if I follow your instructions to roll back to the previous version? I do not want to lose all the albums and galleries that I have already created. Our website is at http://www.jazzartsfoundation.org and the gallery with the problem is on the Jazz at the Library Photos page and it titled “JazzAtLibrary DB 2016-03-10”.
Also, is the workaround found by Capobis a valid one? Can we create the album using a title without any spaces and it will then work as normal?
