GA Scripts not starting on initial Pageload

    Hi,
    I’m having a couple of issues with my Google Analytics scripts not being initiated until the page is refreshed. I tried enabling the ‘Reload after Accept button click’ option which worked, however this causes another issue with Google Analytics reports. With this option enabled Google Analytics reports all Traffic as Direct instead of Organic. This has been confirmed after opening a ticket with the Google Ads Support Team.

    I’d really like to continue using this plugin but with these issues I may have to look elsewhere for my GDPR consent solution.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hi @andyt1980,

    Loading Google Analytics scripts without page reload functionality is available currently in our premium version plugin.

    So basically the free version doesn’t work unless you enable the page reload option?.

    Hi @andyt1980,

    Yes. Page reload is mandatory to run the blocked scripts in the basic version.
