    Glad to help:

    1) Nope, this plugin adds all the required code for GA to track your site. You will need a GA account, however, in order for data to be collected and displayed, etc.

    2) No theme templates are modified. All code is added via wp_head hook, so you’re totally safe to upgrade your theme anytime. Will not affect the plugin and vice versa.

Great!! Thanks for the quick response!!

I activated 8 hours ago, but it looks like it may take the full 24 hours to see any activity.

    Just a quick followup question…

Does “enable display advertising” imply that ads will display on my site?

    And one other …

The Custom <head> Code, Tracker Objects and GA Code can / should all be left blank for normal analytics function…?

    No.

Normally the default plugin settings should work fine. But if you have any concerns please refer to the GA documentation for complete information about what each setting does.
