This plugin seems to work good, but I’ve got complains from few users around the world, that choosing language in the dropdown menu sometimes translate the site, but most times does not translate the site (I’ve seen a screenshot of this issue from a user that sent me).

I’ve tried to reproduce the issue, but for me it seems to work every time.

Can you help me to find the source of this issue?

    Hi,

I have checked your website and the translator does not work for me. From the HTML source code I see that you have 2 language selectors, I believe the other one is intended specifically for mobile case.

Try to disable the other one and make sure that you have only one selector. If you are not aware of it, then it can be placed automatically by your menu system. Try to move it out from your menu.

When you are ready, let me know to check again.

It could be also caused by Rocket Loader from Cloudflare. You can try to disable it as well.

    Thanks! 🙂

    Hi,

I’ve set the position of the GTranslate dropdown in the top bar menu instead of the main menu, and it seems to be working correctly now.

Can you please confirm from your side, and advice if there will be some future fix for this, as I would really like to move it back to the main menu.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

After the change I see only one language selector in HTML source code and now it is good.

I believe it is a conflict with your menu plugin/theme which copies our code and places it 2 times. I think the menu plugin/theme needs to be “fixed” to make it compatible with GTranslate.

    Thanks! 🙂

@alexs1966 Please feel free to open a new support ticket and provide more details.

I can’t see the Gtranslate drop-down menu on the site (plugin is active).
Previously, I selected al possible language options, thought it might be a problem, so decide to chose only some of them (roughly 50%). No result, no icon on the home page…

@alexs1966 Please create a new topic here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/gtranslate/#new-topic-0 and make sure to post your website address. Also make sure to describe what you do exactly to add the language selector and where you want it to appear. Having an active plugin is not enough.

    Thanks! 🙂
