FYI: Product Advertising API 5.0 Support Added To 4.0.24

FYI: You must be using the new Product Advertising API 5.0 keys to use EasyAzon 4.0.24 or newer.

Also important, with the new version of the Product Advertising API 5.0, you must ensure that you have a valid Amazon Tracking ID for each locale that you wish to make requests to. You will be unable to search for products with EasyAzon without that information present.

How do you know if you’re on PA API 5.0 or not?
Per Amazon:

If you have generated credentials after September 30th 2017, there is no action required from you. If you have generated credentials before September 29th 2017, please visit Associates Central’s PA API page and click the “migrate now” button which will refresh your credentials with ones that are compatible with PA API 5. Make sure you login with your primary owner account. See Migrating your account for more information. Please ensure you update all your existing credential stores and configuration files immediately, to continue successfully using PA API.

2. How do you generate new API credentials?

This may not be necessary for you, (see answer above) but if you do need to create new credentials, please log into Amazon Associates and look at the menu for “Tools” then click “Product Advertising API” from the drop-down menu. On that page, scroll down to “Manage Your Credentials”.
