 * Have you considered adding a future start date? If someone only needs temporary
   access but for a duration sometime in the future. Thanks!

 * Thanks for the suggestion! Just to confirm, would you like to create the user
   in advance but prevent them from logging in until a specified start date, after
   which their temporary access would begin and remain active until the expiration
   date?

 * Thanks for the quick response! Yes! I would like the user to be created but be
   in a “Pending” status (or even WordPress role) until the specified Start Date.
   At the Start Date the status changes to “Active” and remains active until the
   expiration date.

 * Thanks for confirming! Understood, you’re requesting a scheduled access window
   where the account exists in advance, remains inaccessible until the start date,
   and then stays active until its expiration date. That makes sense, and I’ll consider
   it as a feature request. A plugin-managed “Pending” status would likely work 
   better than changing the user’s WordPress role.
