 * Help, I have somehow totally messed up. How do a get a fresh copy of functions.
   php for my site. It is currently in a state that just issues the following message“
   Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started
   at /home/tombrewer1945/public_html/wp-content/themes/make/functions.php:1) in/
   home/tombrewer1945/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121”
 * I can’t get to the dashboard to remove or install anything.

 * Do you have ‘FTP’ access? You can get that by accessing your hosting provider’s
   control panel.

 * Can you edit the functions.php file from your control panel?
 * If not there should be an option to upload files. In that option find the ‘`/
   wp-content/themes/make/`‘ directory and then download the ‘`functions.php`‘ file
   from within that directory.
 * Depending on [which version of Make](http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/make/) you’re
   using, copy all of the code from [the theme’s original functions.php file](http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/make/1.1.1/functions.php)
   and then paste it over all of the code in your corrupted functions.php file.
   –
   Then upload that to the ‘`/wp-content/themes/make/`‘ directory.

 * The version that I have is:
    define( ‘TTFMAKE_VERSION’, ‘1.1.0’ );
 * You gave me a link to version 1.1.1. Will this work ok?

 * Here’s Version 1.1.0’s functions.php file: [http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/make/1.1.0/functions.php](http://themes.svn.wordpress.org/make/1.1.0/functions.php)

 * OOPS! Sorry, I see that you also gave me links to the various versions. Let me
   try to replace the correct one.

 * Yike, it did not work. I copied all the code as you suggested. Downloaded the
   functions.php file. Renamed it to functions.txt. Edited and replaced the code.
   Renamed it back to functions.php. Uploaded it and have the same results.
    Any
   thoughts? Can I use Notepad to edit the file?

 * Can you double-check your file is not functions.txt.php?

 * If you rename your theme’s folder from “make” to “make-broken” (example) WordPress
   should deactivate your theme at least and revert to the default theme that came
   with your installation.

 * That did it, I have my dashboard back. I guess I can just reload Make. Then delete
   the Make-broken version. Right?
