Title: Functionality with Jetpack Last modified: July 4, 2017 --- # Functionality with Jetpack * Resolved [elacarrubba](https://wordpress.org/support/users/elacarrubba/) * (@elacarrubba) * [8 years, 10 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/functionality-with-jetpack/) * I have been trying to use the Jetpack category exclusion filter ([https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/#filters](https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/#filters)) to filter out posts from this plugin from email notifications (I have it set to automatically categorize posts as the category I’m looking to exclude), but it isn’t working. I double checked everything I could and even spoke with Jetpack support, and it’s looking like there’s something on this end and not their end that’s skipping some part of the process and thereby also skipping the filter. Is there any way I can still get this filter to work using your plugin? When I make a post without using this plugin under the Stories category (the one I’m filtering out), an email notification does not get sent. However, when I make a post using this plugin, which I did check and does get categorized under the Stories category, and email notification does get sent. When I spoke with Jetpack support they said posts made through the plugin seem to skip the part of the process that would normally trigger the filter. * I hope that helps.
