# Function Reference/login header (Password Reset Text)

 * Hello. I’m trying to edit the default password reset text, “Enter your new password
   below” to something more descriptive.
 * According to this page, [https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/login_header](https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/login_header)
   I am able to change it in the wp-login.php file, but I’m concerned if I update
   WordPress in the future, it will overwrite it.
 * Is there a way to do this in the functions.php in the theme folder? Thanks
