• Hi everyone,

I’m trying to fix something in WordPress on the Burns Bog Conservation Society’s website, but I’ve hit a dead end. Let me break the situation down:

    1) The “Submit and Check Out” button on our Membership Checkout page isn’t leading where it’s supposed to, so my superiors asked me to see if I can figure out the problem.

    2) I want to check the button to see what it links to, but WordPress’s version of the Membership Checkout page just shows the following: <b>[pmpro_checkout]</b> instead of anything I can edit directly.

    3) I noticed some stray coding hovering around the actual page, so I assume that it can be edited directly (if only so I can get rid of the tiny “div>” hovering near the start of the paragraph on the page).

Do you know how I can actually edit the content of the page? I’m using the “hover-number-two” theme, by the way.

Any suggestions you can provide will be helpful. Thanks!

  • By default, WordPress does not incorporate any Membership system apart from the default Users section. My guess is that you are using a membership plugin for this part of the site.

Try navigating to Plugins, locating the membership plugin you are using and noting its name. A search for that name at https://wordpress.org/plugins/ will then take to that plugin’s WPORG page which includes a link to it’s dedicated sub-forum, You should be able to ask your questions there.

Ah, that’s helpful! I’ll give that a go. Thanks!
