    The aspect ratio of the header image appears to not be set up correctly for responsive design. When I place a photo in the header, if I change the size of the window, the pictures compresses horizontally. Given that the header is fullscreen in this theme, it’s a pretty glaring flaw.

    Can we expect any response to this?

    It’s a pretty glaring problem – switching from PC full screen width to tablet or phone view narrows the header image but doesn’t change the length of the image (as the poster says above, it’s an aspect ratio issue).
