FullCalendar shortcode exact date

I’d like to display the WP FullCalendar on every single event page set to the specific date of that event. I can set the year and month using the shortcode, but not the day. This is the shortcode I use:
[events_calendar year=”#Y” month=”#n” day=”#d”]
As I mentioned the day setting doesn’t work so when I change the view to “day” the calendar shows the first day of the month. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
