I am using the free theme of hestia, with elementor, I have a page that is configured “full width template”, I want to add a section with a background image that I took the full width of the template box, but “full width” does not change the section, it is the same width as with the option “box”.

By activating “stretch” in addition to “full width”, the subject box is exceeded. https://prnt.sc/vfnzmt. What can I do to solve this?

  • Hi @ujoha,

The full-width option works as expected to take the full width of the content, as you see looking at the sections above all the sections are this width as that whitespace is padding where content does not overlap.

If you want the background to be neither full width nor the stretch to the size of the whole window – you need to add some custom CSS to match the actual template width including the paddings.
