Support » Theme: Debut » Full width Jetpack Portfolio pages

  • I have just discovered Jetpack and am working on a website overhaul. I am trying to use Jetpack’s Portfolio page as a full width page/post. I found CSS code to edit the actual “post/project” page, but I can’t figure out how to edit the main portfolio page (which lists as an archive).

    See links above for the main portfolio page that has a sidebar and the individual portfolio page that I was able to edit with the code as follows in the custom CSS editor:

    ‘/* Hide the sidebar for Jetpack single portfolio pages */

    .single-jetpack-portfolio #primary {
    border: none;
    float: none;
    padding: 0;
    width: 100%;

    .single-jetpack-portfolio #secondary {
    display: none;

    I am not sure if there is something within the theme that I can set full width as the default for every page or if there is something within Jetpack to do it, or if I have to do it all with CSS edits.

    I’m new to editing the CSS and am learning as I go along!

    Thanks for any help!

    I think I have discovered that with Debut, and maybe all of wordpress, the posts (including the custom content posts of Jetpack’s Portfolio) always have a sidebar, unless edited out with CSS. I noticed that my Portfolio page and Blog page have a sidebar for Search, Archives and Meta. How do I remove those? I did check the forums, but the CSS edits that I am finding seem to be theme specific and do not seem to work on Debut.
