# Full Width Image

 * It’s been 2 dayss and I am trying to add an full-width image to nutritionbyeric.
   com. I am inspired by sites like
 * [http://www.jakehuddleston.com](http://www.jakehuddleston.com)
    marieforleo.com
   kriscarr.com
 * and want the image to look like they have it. I created an image, it’s 1080×345
   as I recall and have tried the following themes:
 * Puro Ultra and OptimizePress. I cannot seem to get that image to be full width.
 * Why is it so hard? Is there a theme that is more suitable for this?
 * While I know this can be done by CSS, and thought I have a CSS plugin, I am a
   CSS newbie.
 * ps I found [http://www.jakehuddleston.com’s](http://www.jakehuddleston.com’s)
   site from a WP post. He had the same issue. I checked what his site was running
   on, and it’s being run by squarespace.
 * Since I am not the only one, I am wondering if this is something that could be
   added to a future release of WordPress.

 * You will need to edit the CSS of your them to make this work, and there’s a possibility
   that the structure of the HTML in your chosen theme will not allow a full width
   image. Your best option is to select a theme that already has a full width image.
