 * Hello,
    I bought a custom theme and am working on customizing it. I have actually
   done all the stuff myself and am getting little to no help on one final change.
   I have had people tell me that on their computers the content area looks to small.
   I have tried widening it, but in doing so, it gets rid of the side bar. In the
   CSS file it says max 1050px I am not sure if this is where things would be changed.
   I am not really understanding the widths/padding/percentages. Please be kind
   and don’t tell me to not mess with it. I have been trying to learn things on
   my own and have gotten this far. Basically I want my blog to be a full width
   layout with a sidebar in it. The theme has different layout options…just not
   that specific one. There is a full width one and then obviously ones with sidebars.
 * This is what the dimensions are according to the CSS file. `/* ## Column Widths
   and Positions
    ——————————————— */
 * /* ### Wrapping div for .content and .sidebar-primary */
 * .content-sidebar-sidebar .content-sidebar-wrap,
    .sidebar-content-sidebar .content-
   sidebar-wrap, .sidebar-sidebar-content .content-sidebar-wrap { width: 980px; }
 * .content-sidebar-sidebar .content-sidebar-wrap {
    float: right; }
 * .sidebar-content-sidebar .content-sidebar-wrap,
    .sidebar-sidebar-content .content-
   sidebar-wrap { float: left; }
 * /* ### Content */
 * .content {
    border: 2px solid #000;
 * float: left;
    width: 72%; text-align: left;
 * }
 * .content-sidebar .content,
    .content-sidebar-sidebar .content, .sidebar-content-
   sidebar .content { float: left; }
 * .content-sidebar-sidebar .content,
    .sidebar-content-sidebar .content, .sidebar-
   sidebar-content .content { width: 580px; }
 * .full-width-content .content {
    width: 100%; }
 * /* ### Primary Sidebar */
 * .sidebar-primary {
    float: right; width: 25%; padding-left: 0px; border-left:
   1px solid #eee; border: 2px solid #000;
 * If anyone could be so kind to point me in the right direction I would really
   appreciate it. Is it even possible to achieve this in this theme? If not, I am
   looking for a free or very inexpensive theme instead. I am getting frustrated
   at this point because I am so close to achieving what I want. [ Thank you!](http://caffeinatedandcreative.com)

 * Hey, speryea!
 * I think you’d have an easier time with Divi from ElegantThemes.com. It’s super
   flexible and easy to work with.
