# Full-text archives?

 * When you click on a category, it says “Archive for: category name” and the post
   is cut off, and you have to click the the title to view the rest.
 * How do I make posts in category/archive view show FULL TEXT?

 * Sounds like your current theme is using an `archive.php` or `category.php` page
   to show the category listing?
 * If so, edit that file and replace [the_excerpt()](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_excerpt)
   with [the_content()](http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/the_content).
