full template not displaying when logged out

    I am using a theme for my site which works fine when logged in..ie when I view the site logged in (admin mode) everything displays as it should. However when I log out and view the site, certain parts of the site are missing – the footer does not display correctly, the sidebar does not disoplay, nor does the comment field.

    I cannot get to the bottom of why the theme displays properly when logged in as admin, but not as a visitor. Does anyone have any ideas what may be the problem? Thanks

    to update this…..I have noticed that everything on the pages displays correctly. However the problem seems to be with the post pages – it is the post pages on which some items are missing – such as footer, sidebar and comments field.

    could it be using a different page template for pages as it does for posts?
