I upload all my images with a long edge of 800px and I set the value in IB1 and IB2 both to be 800. I add watermarks myself in Lightroom before uploading.

Now occssionally I get asked to supply an original high quality copy of the image without a watermark. Because this will only be occassional there is no sense in me permanently storing full size copies of every image on the web server. I’ll just upload somewhere them as and when they are requested.

They are often too big to email so what I want to do is find somewhere on my website I can upload them to – maybe a password protected page not shown on my menu (I know how to create that page). Is there any way I can upload the original photos to this special area and put links and instructions up on a page?

I tried creating a folder called public_html\downloads then FTP’d photots to here but when I try and display mywebsite.com/downloads I get an access forbidden error.

Any suggestions on the best way to do this?

Put them in the …/wppa-source/album-xx/ folder; make sure the name is exactly ( case sensitive and no spaces ) the same as the filename parameter on the edit album screen so you see the blue ‘Source available’ indicator.

Then use the Art Monkey link and enable source use for art monkey on Table VI-C1.1. Set the art monkey link to zip, it will decrease filesize a bit.
