 * I’m currently trying to customize my RSS feeds in WordPress 2.8
 * I’d like full control over the output of my feeds and possibly want to stick
   with one format as well (likely Atom) while entirely disabling all other feeds.
   I also don’t have much reason to have comment feeds at all and would like to
   disable them as well.
 * I have found the code for causing the automatic feed links from being put into
   my header, but I’d like to completely disable the creation of the feeds themselves
   as to not have people grabbing any feed format where I haven’t already carefully
   setup the output as I’d like to.
 * Searching for plugins/help regarding this topic has been difficult. In previous
   versions of WordPress it seems all you needed to do was make a new feed template
   and you were off running. Now it seems like WordPress wants to dictate which
   feeds I use and also how they are displayed.
 * Then as a final (and far less important) note I’m also interested in using a
   sub-domain for my feeds as in feeds.whatever.net but also could find no information
   pertaining to how this is achieved via WordPress
 * Any ideas?
 * Thanks!

 * I don’t have much info about the main point of your post, but as for using a
   subdomain, you could always have that subdomain http redirect to the final feed.
 * Heck, now that I think about it, you could use some custom .htaccess hacking
   to get rid of the feeds you don’t want, or point them to the feed you do want.
