Full Preview Showing in Publish section

I and another admin noticed yesterday that a full preview of the post, page, or custom post shows in the Publish section that we have on the right side of the screen. This is not horrible, but it does mean that we have to do a lot of scrolling to get to the Categories, Tags, Featured Image, and Types sections. I realize we can click the right up arrow to minimize the section.

Can we remove this preview and how? Or can we have the Publish section default to minimized?
