Sometime in the last day or two, the full posts have stopped showing up on my homepage at kimwerker.com. I have WP set to display ten full posts on the homepage, and the title of each post does show up. The post content displays just fine on the permalink pages, so I’m not freaking out that the data have been lost.

I’d appreciate any help you can give. Thanks, in advance!

  • Actually, there’s no setting to “display 10 full posts” for your site. There’s a setting to say how many posts you want to have show up on the index blog page, but the “Full posts” or “summary” is for your feed. It has nothing to do with what actually shows up on your site.

If this “just happened” without you doing anything, and before, they *were* showing, then you need to think about what you were doing before this happened. Did you install any new plugins? Mess with the theme files?

I installed a new plugin a few days ago, but this problem didn’t occur then. I have not touched my theme. I noticed the problem after using Flickr to make a post this morning, but I can’t see how that would affect the display of posts on the homepage. Also, the content of my pages isn’t displaying at all, which is concerning. Any ideas?

    Thanks!

(I didn’t mean to imply there’s a unique setting; just that the combination of settings I use results in ten full posts displaying on my home page.)

Temporarily disable all plugins and see if the problem goes away.

Thanks, iridiax. I should have done it to begin with. The culprit was the Twit-This plugin, which is the last one I installed, albeit a couple of days before the problem started.
