    I’m having a problem getting full posts in the weekly digest email I send. I have my template set as

    Here are the {BLOGNAME} posts for the this week:

    ****************************************

    {POST}
    {TINYLINK}
    ****************************************
    There were {COUNT} total posts this week.

    However, posts always show up truncated. I’ve noted that the Post setttings state:

    {POST}
    the excerpt or the entire post
    (based on the subscriber's preferences)

    However I cannot seem to find an area where a subscriber’s preference allows for this. If possible, I’d like to have all users receive non-truncated versions in the weekly digest. I did find this:

    Auto-subscribe users to receive email as:
     HTML - Full HTML - Excerpt Plain Text - Full Plain Text - Excerpt

    And have it set to “Plain Text – Full” but that doesn’t seem to change anything. I’m sure there is an option I’m missing somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • @webmasterdrake,

    You haven’t missed anything, it is not possible with the current code to have full content of each post in the digest email. For many sites this would make the digest post ridiculously long.

    You can edit the code it use the full content, you’d need to amend the subscribe2_cron() function that is towards the end of the class-s2-core.php file in the classes folder.

    Thanks!
