# FTP theme files

 * I’m a newbie. I keep reading that I need to FTP theme files when I change themes.
   I haven’t done that because I use appearance-themes-addnew-select a theme-activate.
   Why do I need to FTP any files when I change themes in WordPress in this way.

 * You don’t need to use FTP if you are able to add themes via WP admin.
