The backup works fine on my own server but when chosing ftp, there are files with length 0, sometimes in the middle of a number of files as I had to reduce the size to 10MB to make it work. This does not generate any error message so I assume the backup is completed offsite with success.

Could you include a status on the first screen showing that all files have been transferred including their size on the remote server?

Yes this is sure : if the size is too big, the ftp may be reset by you host provider … this is an issue that can only be addressed by reducing the size …

The status would be difficult to implement

I will release a version that should addressed the status issue : I found a quite quick solution : It indicate if the transfer has been successful or not.

Tell me what you think about this modification : this will be active only for new backups 🙂

    Hi,

Thanks, sounds good, if possible, styled using css, red if failed, green if ok to make it easer. If you want to be really helping, make this all possible to be viewed in a box on the dashboard to prevent it getting forgotten.

Looking forward to the upgrade, any timeframe?

it is released and it is css styled as requested.

Nevertheless, no box in the dashboard is implemented for now

Cool, maybe one to release in the future as clients tend to simply look at the dashboard

    Thanks, will update asap
