 * Hi gwinterhalter,
 * Does it give any error message? Suggestions:
 * – If it’s your company’s server, then you could ask your company sysadmin to
   capture the network traffic on the server side and see what the problem is.
 * – Does your company server require encryption? That’s not supported without an
   add-on. (If it is, then you’d know – you’d be activating a setting for it).
 * – You may be entering the wrong thing as your path… check with your company sysadmins
   for the right setting (it varies between servers).

 * I am the sysadmin. I can access company ftp with credentials provided to your
   plugin (no ftps needed). but it fails with “ftp login failure”
    the log just
   says authentication failure.

 * Hi Greg,
 * Thanks for the report… please de-install and re-install UpdraftPlus… we found
   a bug, and it’s now fixed if you re-install (no version number change, as we
   don’t want to enforce an update on everyone, as this issue only affects the “
   Test” button if your username has backslashes). WordPress doubles backslashes
   sent in credentials for historic reasons, and this needed reversing in the plugin.(
   In fact it’s only the “Test” that has this problem – a real backup would have
   succeeded).
 * Best wishes,
    David
