FTP login and Plugin help

    How do I know the host, username and password?

    For me, host is my site address, and username and password are my server login credentials.

    I haven’t downloaded wordpress either, as I just did the easy free website.

    That sounds like your site might be at wordpress.com, and if so, you cannot FTP to the server.

    No. To use anything not available at your Dashboard, you will need a self-hosted site on a server other than wordpress.com…and here is the wordpress.com support forum:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/

    You are welcome. WordPress.com can be a great place to begin, just be sure to compare costs between upgrades there and self-hosting as you learn more and want to do more at your site.
