• Hi,

I’m hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.
I’ve been attempting to upgrade my Udesign theme to v 1.7.

Uploading via admin panel of the zip theme file yields this error message:
    Destination folder already exists. /home2/practip7/public_html/wp-content/themes/u-design/

Prior to uploading, I deleted (via ftp) the old version of the theme.
But I still get the “folder already exists” error message.

I’ve reviewed the remote site to search folders/directories/subs
but cannot find the destination folder noted above.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
    JCD

Thanks Robin. When I attempt to upload via ftp I also get them same error message as using admin panel: Destination folder already exists. /home2/practip7/public_html/wp-content/themes/u-design/

When I attempt to search the client ftp I cannot locate practip7 or the public_html directories. Its as if they don’t exist.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the follow up Robin.

I accessed the remote client via ftp /wordpress/content/udesign theme

I did not use the practip7/public html directory roots

Yes I have a screenshot but can’t paste it into the forum.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

i hope its just typo or quick type of the path — so just making sure

    its wordpress/wp-content/themes/udesign

    for image upload
    http://tinypic.com/

or just upload it anywhere on ur server and send the url

The path I used is the one you noted:
    wordpress/wp-content/themes/udesign

    Thanks

did u try completely deactivating your theme and try to activate twentyeleven

The udesign theme does not have a deactivate link (via Admim/themes)

I will go ahead and activate twentyeleven and see what happens

I will post again in a minute
