# FTP folder error

 * I’ve already sent off the tech support e-mail to my hosting service, but wondered
   if it was something simple that everyone here might know (maybe a Windows thing?).
 * The error lists:
 * 220 – …Pure-FTPd [TLS]
    220 – …user number 1 0f 50 allowed 220 – …server port:
   21 421 – unable to set up secure anonymous FTP
 * The site is fine and I can manage through admin.

 * That is likely your problem. You should have a user/password and be using that
   when ftp’ing…

 * I don’t get the chance to enter a user/password – when trying to get to the ftp
   site, that’s what comes up.
